Just in case someone had doubts before, the reason why we spent 300 million on a rushed election is so that Harper can get it over with before his policies put Canada into deficit.
There is only one tiny hiccup in that plan, he didn’t get majority.

Torture, Conservative Government Takes inAction!
There were allegations that Canadian officials contributed to torture-by-proxy in the case of three Canadian men. Through an inquiry started in 2006, a retired Supreme Court of Canada Justice Frank Iacobucci found:
