Is there a political campaign record that Obama has not broken yet? As of tonight, only one. Obama already broke all new voter registration records. He set record voter turnouts in the primaries. He broke another record by gathering the most number of people for any political convention. He broke historic fundraising records as he raised the most amount of money in a single day, month, and in total. He also gathered the most amount of people for any political campaign rally and he did in a red state too. He set new records on Facebook, website registration, online donations, television ads, etc. In other words, Obama is the Michael Phelps of politics. So what does he do when there aren’t anymore records left to break? He invents a new one.
Obama purchased prime time television spots on CBS, NBC and Fox. He’ll be on tonight at 8pm for 30 minutes for a speech that is so important, they had to move a baseball final for it. He’ll also be appearing on The Daily Show with John Stewart that same night. Obama also got an extensive interview with CNN on Friday. Basically, he is doing a television blitz of unprecedented proportions.
What’s McCain doing? He did an interview that will be aired on Larry King live during the time that most Americans will be watching the baseball final.
What’s the one record Obama is till trying to break? You’ll find out on November 4th.
