I am talking about Gordon Liddy and I think Letherman was absolutely right. The headline above is just as silly and ridiculous as the smear job McCain’s campaign is doing with the whole Bill Ayers made up controversy. In politics there are truths and half-truths. This one is so bluntly false that it makes you wonder why they didn’t just say he is “palling” around with Bin Ladin himself.   

One major reason why McCain will loose this election is because he stopped being himself and became the very person he hated most by using the same smear tactics that were used against him, his wife, and his adopted daughter when he ran in 2000. 

McCain should stop listening to all the mini Karl Roves and get back to what people actually care about. As Carville put it, “Its the economy, stupid!”
