I had fun watching the debate at an Irish Pub tonight, its the one place that political pollsters can’t reach when they do post-debate polling and its also the one place where you are more likely to hear what people really think. 

In short, Obama did well on domestic issues and McCain did well on foreign policy. Does this mean they tied? Not at all. Obama is winning because fear mongering against terrorists or Russia doesn’t work on people who are wondering if they will be able to keep their home and/or job.

While very few McCain and Obama supporters will be switching sides after tonight, independents are starting to lean towards Obama and these debates only confirm what they already know is the right choice.
