Lieberman, McCain’s good friend and supporter, would have been VP if he was anti-choice, had this to say about tonight’s debate between Palin and Biden :
“What she needs to do tonight is get this public consideration of her back to who she is and her strong points and, frankly, get it away from being a, kind of, IQ test — she’s plenty smart — getting it away from being a, sort of, final college exam” - Politico.com
I agree with him, in fact, the less Palin speaks the better it is for McCain. But here is my question, shouldn’t the next VP/President have a high enough IQ to talk about issues in a knowledgeable and intelligent way? If republicans win, she’ll have access to US nuclear weapons, yet even her own supporters don’t think she could get a passing grade if the debate focuses on issues instead of personalities, even after cramming for it for the past week? What a mess, if she wins the election, I think people might actually miss Bush.
