The attack on Sept. 11th 2001 killed 2,974 innocent people including 24 Canadians. I visited ground zero a year ago and the experience is still fresh in my mind today. The scale of the destruction was bigger then anything I remembered seeing on television. Those who were brave enough to go into those falling buildings to save lives are among the unspoken heroes who teach us that true courage means helping others. Please take a moment to remember this day and pay tribute to all the everyday heroes who walk among us, its that type of sacrifice that restores our faith in humanity.
