Hillary had a good speech today, I like that she got straight into supporting Obama and I really liked the line when she said: “Where you in it just for me or for the…[issues].” I think its the best argument anyone can make. However, she still needs to say that she agrees with the approximate 20 million democrats who think Obama is experienced enough to be president.
The argument should look something like this:
1. Obama has 20 years of experience in public life.
2. Obama has demonstrated he has had the right judgement on the tough issues such as Iraq.
3. While Obama has been a senator in Illinois (97-04) and a US Senator (04-08), Obama also has a wide range of political experience outside of government.
4. In order to bring real change, Americans must elect a president with experience other then simply being a member of the senate.
Therefore, Obama has the right mix of experience and judgement that enables him to be able to bring real change to Washington and be ready on day one to be commander-in-chief.
That and continuing to stress that Bush and McCain morphed into McBush:
