Its called, oil sands tourism! Greenpeace launches a website, travellingalberta.com designed to attract attention to the damage tar sand development has on Alberta’s environmental landscape. Its all fun and games until you see the scenery section, without using words, it really answers my earlier question with regards to why American’s don’t want to grant exploration on their shore lines.
