I think it would be a great idea. James Carville, a Clinton supporter for President, seems to think so as well.

Here are my top 3 picks for Obama’s VP in no particular order:

-  Al Gore

- Hillary Clinton

-  John Edwards

I think if he picks anyone from that list, it will be a significant boost for his campaign. Al Gore would be a great addition considering energy consumption, specifically gas prices has been polled to be a top issue for many battle ground states. Clinton comes with pluses and minuses but it will help heal the party further and hopefully give a boost in states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, etc. John Edwards is another southerner that does really well in the demographics Obama needs to improve in, his key campaign workers have already signed up for Obama’s campaign so it would be a natural fit.
