Clinton fundraised $20 million despite what at times looked like desperate SOS calls from the campaign.
Here is why Obama will win the nomination: he has more votes, more delegates, more grass route contributors, a better message, and more fundraising then Clinton and McCain both put together at the time when it matters. In Feb. he took in a record $55 million. Actually, he has fundraised more then some democratic presidential candidates during the actual election.
Total raised in March: More than $40 million
Contributors in March: More than 442,000
First-time contributors in March: More than 218,000
Average contribution: $96
Total contributors to date: More than 1,276,000

Obama, to many, represents a hope that America has been waiting for. Many do not know how he stands on Anti-war policies, many do not know how he stands on the issue of poverty, and many do not know what he feels about the labour force right now, and although many of his philosophies and principles are in sinc with the left wing thinkers, they do not know that. What do they know is that he is charismatic, optimistic, powerful, and most importantly, he represents hope, as mentioned above.
Obama is what America has been waiting for. After so much poverty in Detroit, so much decadence in Hollywood, so much neglect in Orleans, America is putting their hope in Obama. Hope comes from the heart. Money pours out of the pockets of people that have involved their hearts in any matter…
I am not surprised at all at the fact that people are reaching into their pockets for their hope, inspiration, and leader — Obama.
