As if the comment from a staff person who said Obama is only there “because he is black” wasn’t bad enough, over the weekend, an aide to Senator Clinton attempted reduce the importance of Obama’s wins by referring to those states as “boutique” states and Obama’s supporters as the “latte-sipping crowd.” Is she talking about Virginia, Iowa, Louisiana, or Idaho?

2. New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, enough said.

3. Education tax break bill, why do it if you are not ready to go all the way? The liberals knew they were going to throw back a confidence motion and they’ll have to go through the humiliating vote again and again. What is the message here? There was a women representing the Liberals during Don’s political hour interview after question period, she said the Liberals support the budget and want to see the government continue on and that the Liberals don’t support the government and think they aren’t transparent, all within about 5 minutes.

And now, again, we hear threats of an election call in April or May after the by-elections. Does anyone understand what the strategy is?
