Here is a word to the wise…
In September, I decided to start running in the mornings, at about 7am or 8am, depending on my daily schedule. When I used to be the captain of my highschool soccer team, we had practice at about 6am before classes twice a week, I decided to try this type of regime again and see what affects it will have on my performance.
It getting busy with the provincial election campaign, Orientation week organizing was over but classes began right after as well…needless to say it was a busy time for me. After about 3 days of running (I ran about 1-2 kilometers each day), I had noticed a few changes:
- more energy
- better sleep
- higher discipline to do any task
- weight loss
- your body wants to eat less junk
After keeping up with the routine for about a month and a half, I was very pleased with the results. However, sickness came and I did not return to running after once classes & campaign work got overwhelming. Will start again tomorrow and highly recommend it to everyone.
Anyway, I noticed a funny thing in those mornings. In the really rich area of the neighborhood, I saw the most people running and it got me thinking, could there be a connection between people running in the morning and financial success? So I purposely decided to run in those different areas and compare it to other areas with low income households. This was not, by any stretch of the imagination, a formal study but by my visual observation with regards to the correlation, the conclusion was pretty clear: yes.

Hi Vlad
Great post. Thanks for posting.
It makes me think positive about my work out routine. I try working out for an hour every day but sometime I miss it because I am too busy to get to it. But reading your post, I think I should keep trying.
That part about relationship b/w working out and financial success, its correct. I just got a hunch about it.
keep writing
and keep motivating
